This is a very short film that I made within a group of four, in which we used it as practice for our coursework. We had a set dialogue, and a list of different shot sizes and cinematography techniques to include, and we had 2 hours to film and edit it. What I have created isn't the best piece of film, but I am quite proud of what I have achieved due to this being my first ever short film. It uses techniques like shot reverse shots, long shorts, eye line matches, match on action, close ups, etc. This is exampled within the conversation between the two friends that are bulling the other character. I think the use of focusing is particularly good, because it allows the audience to see exactly who the girls are talking about without there being any dialogue. The focus is a wide depth of field as you can see the background and the foreground together, as you can see all three characters in that shot.
