Location Scouting 2

For quite few of my shots I wanted to have a car park as the setting when the couple are placed looking at each other.
 However I decided that I did not want to endanger my actors as there will be cars around, and it has the same background of the beach.

 
 
 Therefore I decided to do it on a strip of path that is near to the car park, but only people can walk through.








I believe that this would be an ideal place to film as it gives a good background and lighting to the shots I will have composed, but also look slightly dull for the meaning of the scenes that I will be shooting there.
 I don't have to think about how windy it will be or the noise that the camera will pick up as I am doing a music video, therefore the song will be playing over it anyway.

One trouble I may encounter when progressing at this location, is people walking up and down, but even when I did the location scout you can see clearly on the video that no one was there except the beach, which isn't a problem.

  This is my digipak to accompany the rest of the album that the song "Intertwined" features on, in which my music video is based upon.     A few things that I like from this product is:    The colour scheme - I like the colour scheme that I chose as it is nature orientated, hence quite stereotypically feminine and fits in with my target audience. I also think it is quite mellow and fits in with the genre of the music that dodie produces. Furthermore, it goes with the model who is acting as Dodie's hair. Bullied - Editing Practice

This is a very short film that I made within a group of four, in which we used it as practice for our  coursework. We had a set dialogue, and a list of different shot sizes and cinematography techniques to include, and we had 2 hours to film and edit it. What I have created isn't the best piece of film, but I am quite proud of what I have achieved due to this being my first ever short film. It uses techniques like shot reverse shots, long shorts, eye line matches, match on action, close ups, etc. This is exampled within the conversation between the two friends that are bulling the other character.   I think the use of focusing is particularly good, because it allows the audience to see exactly who the girls are talking about without there being any dialogue.
